• Professional and personal development.  From behind-the-scenes tours of businesses to presentations by inspirationsal femail business leaders to sessions with HBS professors, members receive early notification (events often sell out) and often discounts to HBSWA sponsored and other local events.  Members can bring guest at attractive rates.
  
• Career development.  We offer interactive, skill building workshops to help members with career pathing, resumes, negotiations, etc.  Topics include "Your Unique Personal Brand," "Defining Success," "Building Dynamic Networks," and more.  Members receive this invaluable training at rates well below market.  We also offer monthly, members-only structured networking sessions on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  Come prepared to exchange actionable advice and contacts.  These roundtable sessions are free.  The HBSWA also sends members job postings for traditional and alternative career paths.
  
• Networking.  Membership includes access to the HBSWA printed and on-line directory -- the most up to date contact information for networking and career search.
  
• Social events.  We meet to dine at some of Boston's hottest restaurants, enjoy private receptions at museums, and celebrate holidays in style, such as attending "A Christmas Carol" or "The Nutcracker."
